OG1N 100 - May challenge

LAST YEAR

Last May, OG1N organised a challenge for the entire month.

Participants had a simple choice: complete 5km or 10km every day in May, by any means possible- running, walking, cycling, rowing, or however they chose to move.

We had 18 absolute legends step up and take on something both physically and mentally challenging.

Between those 18 legends, an incredible 4,880.33km was covered across the month.

To put that into perspective, that's roughly the distance from California to New York - with over 300km still left to go.

While the challenge was individual, together we achieved something pretty special.

THIS YEAR

This year we wanted to mix things up a little - making the challenge feel more community-driven while also being more achievable.

Introducing OG1N 100

Instead of completing a set distance every day, this year the goal is simple: move a self-prescribed total distance across the month of May.

There are three tiers you can aim for:

Challenger: 50km+

OG1N: 100km+

Elite: 250km+

The great thing about this year is you don't need to choose your tier at the start. Log your distances however you like, and at the end of the month you can claim the tier that fits what you achieved.

Just like last year, the same rules apply - you can cover the distance by any means you like: running, walking, cycling, rowing, ski machine, or any other way you choose to move.

The spirit of the challenge is to get outside and move, so we encourage everyone to complete their distance outdoors where possible. That said, we know life, work, and the British weather don't always align - so indoor sessions will still count when needed.

To keep things fair and accountable, we ask that you log your distance with proof - a watch, Strava, or a similar tracking method works perfectly.

Unlike last year, you don't need to complete it every day. If you miss a day, there's no need to "make up" the distance the following day. You simply complete your total distance any time within the 31 days of May.

And this year, there's a

And this year, there's a collective mission.

Every kilometre logged will contribute to a shared community total. Together, we aim to at least match last year's incredible 4,880km, and hopefully push even further.

Imagine what the OG1N community can achieve - every walk, run, ride, or session adding to a shared journey that proves what's possible when we move together.
